About Us
Welcome to Lunar International College. Located in Buyende District and accredited by the Ministry of Education and Sports, we are vibrant, community-driven school dedicated to bringing quality education and bright futures to rural Uganda.
We believe that every child deserves a chance to thrive. Our schools were founded to break down barriers like poverty and limited resources, giving young people the tools, technology, and mentorship they need to succeed and lift up their communities.
Primary
The primary section focuses on foundational education, literacy, numeracy, character development, and holistic child growth. We have a PLE Center Number 146302
Secondary
Our secondary section offers Arts and Science subjects. With an approach focused on strengthening academic growth, leadership development, innovation, and digital literacy while preparing learners for higher education and future careers.

Message From the Director
Welcome to Lunar Primary School and Lunar International College.
This institution is born out of a deeply personal journey. My wife and I grew up right here in rural Uganda, facing the very same hardships our students face today. It was the power of a good education that transformed our lives, breaking the cycle of poverty and opening doors for us to serve in high government positions.
Having lived this reality, we knew we couldn’t look back without reaching back. In 2002, we founded these schools with a burning passion to give the children of Buyende District that very same opportunity.
Our motto, “Education for Production,” is our heartbeat. We are not just running a school; we are building a launching pad for future leaders, and problem-solvers who will lift their families and rewrite the story of rural Uganda.
